It's hard to believe it's been 18 years already. To say this was a surreal moment in the city of Los Angeles' history would be a bit of an understatement. National Guard tanks rolling through South Central, riots, business owners on the roofs of their shops shooting at looters, gangsters shooting it out with the cops in broad daylight.
